Research has shown that football players are at a higher risk of developing mental health issues such as anxiety, depression and burnout. Additionally, the physical demands of the sport ca lead to injuries, chronic pain and long-term health consequences.

At Mumwe Football Academy. We have adopted a holistic approach to health and wellness, recognizing that a player’s physical and mental well-being are interconnected. Our initiatives and programs are designed to support our players’ overall health and wellness both on and off the pitch. Some initiatives we have implemented include:
Sports Science and Medicine: Our team of sports scientists and medical professionals work closely with our coaches and players to develop personalized training programs providing injury prevention and treatment and conduct regular health checks.
